• I want to become a teacher to help better educate the younger generation with the knowledge I have accumulated in my lifetime. Also help them become productive members of society and survive in the modern world. A student’s mind is like a blank slate and I would like to be the person to fill up that slate with knowledge and help the student gain experience that they will need later on in life. I also want to gain the knowledge the students can give me because they teach me just as much if not more than I teach them. Every student has something to teach just as every student has something to learn. I want to help that student learn all they can learn and teach all they can teach. When a student has done that and has reached their full potential I will feel like I have done my job correctly and I will feel good about it. What I don’t look forward to is a student that refuses to work and refuses to reach their full potential that will make me wonder what I could have done to make this student work and reach their full potential. I just want to become a teacher because with out good teachers what would we learn and who will guide us on our journey on becoming responsible adults.
