• The world. Humans are the dominant species. But what are we really? We are the peak of evolution, and we can do amazing things. We are also capable of terrible things. Blood has been spilled in the name of everything, from jelousy, to religon, to simple psychotic rage. We continue to do nothing or little about inocent people dieing everyday and night in the streets. We care more about our own safety and well-being. If a man pulls out a gun and puts it up against another mans forehead, peole will just run away, or call someone else to help the situation, but you will never see any one else help the man being threatened unless he has a bigger gun. It happens very rarely, that someone is kind enough or a good person to step in and try to stop the violence, either with words or aggresion. Besides that, the world is just dandy. We are basically in a depression while earthquakes and sunami's and other natural disasters continue to take away the honest lives of thousands. Take Haiti, for example. We are doing the best we can to help them, but not others. I know this may sound selfish, but shouldn't we help our own country before we go saving others? Or have we already given up? It is only on the brink, that we truly find the strength to change. Otherwise, we are just normal, average, everyday humans. Murder, Rape, robbery and lies happen everyday without any consent. Humans, on the other hand, are also cpable of tramendously amazing things, from scientific discoveries that change the world, to simplely someone giving a homeless man or woman a dollar or two. We can help and change the world, we even try to, but we havent had the will to change yet. To evolve yet again.
