Several attempts have been made on her life but Doc Reiche, the trio and the house mutants usually handle that before she has a chance to stop them. It has resulted in several fatalities…though Doc is extremely careful to see they clean up after themselves and due to Ellie’s influence he tries to see such attackers are taken alive if possible.
Then, he generally rallies the troops to go after those responsible and ‘encourages’ them to back off and leave their Lady in peace. It’s almost gotten him killed a time or two (which he survived thanks to the trio and the house mutants efforts) but Ellie is generally declared off-limits.
Doc practices medicine too but his Practice is set up in Ellie’s home and Lyla is there to make sure he doesn’t give in to temptation. He also assists Ellie in her street healing and medical Practice.
