Another week has come and gone for the most part. It's 10-something PM on a Thursday night, and I just got off the phone with a bunch of people so to speak. As it turns out, I have tomorrow (Friday) off of work 'cuz they don't need too many teachers to go on the Soak City field trip. My boss-lady forgot to call me until around 10 PM so I didn't get this info until just a few minutes ago. And since then I've been trying to get a hold of Paul but he wasn't answering. So then I tried calling his parents at their house number (they don't have cell phone numbers in the church phamphlet). Didn't reach them. Then I finally remembered that I had Paul's brother's cell phone number, so I called him (and bless him for picking up on the second ring) and got to tell Paul that I wasn't going to go tomorrow to Soak City. So yeah, I gotta say, I'm a little dissappointed that I couldn't go cuz I've never been to Soak City before - but I am also glad that I don't have to go to work. wink I get a day off.

Well, that's a little bit of a fast-forward. I'll tell you how my week went if you care to read. 3nodding The week started out more or less routinely: Me picking up Paul from home and going to work... Working with kids... Then going on the little afternoon field trips or what-nots... Then taking Paul home again... Then going home myself more or less. Though on Tuesday I did get off work early and got to hang out with the girls. 4laugh heart I missed hanging out! Me, Panda, Paula and Michelle all just hung out watching InuYasha movies and playing board games at Michelle's house - it was good times. 3nodding I missed just "hanging out" with the girls. Needs more of it. And Paula too. (She left her sunglasses in my car BTW.) rolleyes

Other than that, the rest of the week so far was ok. We did go to the pool on Wednesday though... And man, these kids are beasts. Especially the boys. I think they like the fact that they have a female teacher to pick on. Cuz from my information, Paul's been the only one to go swimming with them this summer... That is until I showed up. I really must remember to be more alert next time. stare Hate little boys... Or at least the ones who are smart enough to get me thrown in a pool... (And don't you dare start laughing. stare Let's see if you laugh when they throw you in a 2ft pool and make you bump your head from the start...) xp

Other than that, probably the best part of the week too, was today. Paul finally paid me back for all the times that I went to pick him up and stuff! 4laugh heart He gave me twenty bucks and took me out to eat. xd The best! Hehehe. Oh, and the food! blaugh heart 4laugh heart whee If you can't tell from the emotes, then I'll tell you bluntly: It was really, really, REALLY good food. I wouldn't mind going there again. 3nodding And it was a lot too. I gotta say that I'm dissappointed that I couldn't finish it all (I only left a little bit) but for those of you who know how much I eat, then you'll know that this was a lot, and I mean a lot of food. I was still full around dinner time so I passed and snacked on watermelons. 3nodding

Oh, and to top it off, I got paid today at work. 3nodding I got a little more than I thought I would, so it's all good. I seriously thought I'd get around $200-something, but it went into the $300-somethings. rolleyes Can't complain. My boss-lady is wierd. She made it sound like I'd be earning less than mininum-mininum wage, but $300-something is a pretty good price for working only two weeks. So it's all good. 3nodding

Ah, and I almost forgot. When I called Paul earlier just now, and told him I wasn't going to go to work tomorrow, I also asked him what happened with his car cuz he was supposed to call them today. He actually called them on Tuesday, but they ordered the wrong part for the car so they told him to call back today. Anyways, he said that they finally fixed it so he got it back. That means that I don't have to pick him up anymore. Blessed are thee few minutes I get to sleep in more. 4laugh heart Though it was fun driving around with him in the same car, making fun of people who drived around retardedly on the streets, talking about work, school, church, families, friends, listening to music we liked, and listening to him sing along to Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone song, and just talking and getting to know him better... I gotta say, it's nice to have my freedom now.

*Sigh* 3nodding So yeah. I'm just happy more or less right now. Things worked out pretty nicely for me today. Yep, I feel happy~ Oh so happy~ 4laugh

LOL. blaugh Yeah, I guess I'm done talking then. I just wanted to let out my happiness about things going well today. Oh, and I just remembered: There's a rumor going around my work that one of my students has a crush on me. rolleyes So cute. I gotta say, I want to tease him about it and see if it's true. But then again, the other students will probably do that for me, so I'll just sit back and see what he does. I'm so evil. twisted heart rolleyes And no, I'm not a pedifile.

And that's it. wink I wasn't really planning for this one to be quite so long... But then again, it's me that's writing so what the heck. sweatdrop Hope you understood what I ranted about and wasn't too bored about it. blaugh Thanks for reading my insanity.
