Many consider the Trapeze a trick just as is, but I would have to consider it a Mount as well as you start many a trick from this position.
Yo-Yo I used: Hasbro F.A.S.T. 201, Yomega Xodus II, Yomega Crossfire Any sleeping yo-yo works, just be careful with the responsive ones; Butterfly shape is easier for this.
HOW TO THROW A TRAPEZE:
1) Start with a strong Breakaway. 2) Hold your right pointer finger out in the string's path a few inches behind the yo-yo. 3) Allow the yo-yo to flip over your right pointer finger. 4) Angle it right to get the yo-yo to land back on the string.
TO DISMOUNT: Sharply pull the string tight to bounce the yo-yo off the string and flip it over your right pointer finger.
This will take a tremendous amount of practice to get with nearly every attempt. As with the last mount, be very careful with any highly responsive yo-yo as it could wind preemptivly and hurt you.
This mount/trick is what you need to do the Eli Hops, Double On Trapeze, and Suicide
----------------REVISION--------------------------------------------
I do this a bit differently than the directions I stated above; you may or may not find this easier, but it's worth posting.
1) Start with a strong breakaway. 2) Push your right pointer finger down into the string about 4-5 inches away from the yo-yo. 3) As soon as you push your finger into the string, pull your left hand back (away from the yo-yo) as well as your right hand. This will make the loop smaller and faster while giving the yo-yo energy to actually move over your right finger.
Dismount the same as the previous directions. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Next: Back (?) Mount
