Finally, another post from me! It's been a while, but it seems that nobody reads this. Anyways, the Stop and Go is a nice trick just because you can use it to keep a slow spinning yo-yo goinmg for a little bit longer. That, and it just looks nice.
Yo-yo I used: Duncan Imperial Anything responsive works just fine
Duncan Imperial: OK, this one costs $3.75 from the Duncan website (www.yo-yo.com) and with good reason: it's a fixed axel. Unjlikie the other yo-yos I use and recommend, it doesn't have good sleep times or the butterfly shape I so dearly love. On the other hand, it's good for learners because of its responsivness, availibility (found mine at Walmart), and low cost.
How to do the Stop and Go: 1) Perform a Front Mount 2) Give the yo-yo a tug to catch it while in the Front Mount. This is the "Stop" part 3) This is the tricky part. You need to pull your left hand down and your right hand out at the same time to get the "Go" part of this. Start by pulling softly to prevent some severe face blows.
There is no dismount as the act of making it go again dismounted it.
I like to use the combo of Brain Twister, Stop and Go, and Tidal Wave (will not discuss Tidal Wave until later)
Next up: Brain Twister
