So, I went back on the train and headed to Osaka, and my legs hurt and i was very sweaty and gross, so I popped back into my shower, at a small dinner, and then decided to head to Pure Wood. It was pouring, so I brought my umbrella, and walked there slowly, cuz of my poor legs from walking around all day. lol So I get in and im greeted by Waka, Yuuki, and Mikki, and Mikki says hes gonna go to Seke'a with his friends, and I should wait. Its cool, the more the merrier, right? So I sit there and talk about Hiroshima and all that, and some lady sitting next to me is flirting with Yuuki hardcore and Mikki starts to flirt with some hot chick at the bar. So im waiting and waiting for the friends to come, and suddenly the door opens up and some clean cut Japanese kid is standing there.

Holding a statue of Jack Daniels. lol He says in Japanese, hey everyone meet my friend Jack. I knew immediately I was going to like this guy. His name was Yuuki, and he previously worked at Pure Wood, which must have been odd because of there being two Yuuki bartenders lol. But they chatted it up, and he told me he studied at UCSD so he knew english, but he was slowly forgetting it. So we're sitting there, and then another Japanese kid enters, named Tetsu, and we sit there and wait for more friends to show up. The hot chick at the bar starts to leave, so Mikki leaves with her and says goodbye for the last time. Everyone made fun of him because we all knew he had a girlfriend, so whatever he was gonna do with this girl was quite obvious. hahaha
So we waited till almost midnight, and a Swedish guy came, who was fluent in Japanese, with a tall pretty girlfriend, who had a better level than me. After a bunch of beers, Tetsu's younger sister, a brown haired bombshell named Lizu came in, and we started to chat. She worked at a clothing store in Shin-Osaka, and I told her that I live in Kanazawa and all that. She asked if I knew about the HyakuManGoku Matsuri, and of course I did (its a big thing here), and then she asked if I knew about a Miss Hyakumangoku, who I actually got a ride home from last week from the Fireworks party!

She was shocked, for in college, that was her best friend. WTF. The world is so damn small its ridiculous, no? I go to huge Osaka, population a lil more than NYC, and find someone who is best friends with a person I met 3 hours away in a lil beach town. Thats just unbelievable. So yeah, we all go to Seke'a, and Lizu headed out. I cant wait to tell Yuka, Miss Hyakumangoku that I literally ran into her best friend from Kansai University. So on line for the club, I talk to the Swedish kids in english, and then I go to the club, drink, and dance with the Japanese guys. I get crazy on Jack and Coke, and I jump on a stage and dance with Japanese guys who think Im fantastic hahah. There are a bunch of foreigners who keep pointing to me and screaming, and the House music is amazing. Suddenly, two drop dead gorgeous girls come up to me and I cant hear them, but I gather they wanna dance together, so I pull them on stage and dance away. The one girl is so drunk, she falls off the damn stage, and some japanese guy pulls her away and then friggin Yuuki comes and gets the other Japanese girl! WTF Yuuki, way to ruin it. lol Well its packed, and I lose track of Tetsu and the Swedish guys, and I never see the Swedes again, so I hope they had a good time.

I find Yuuki and tell him Im leaving after like 2-3 hours, and I doubt Ill ever forget that club, with its dancers in American cowboys suits or the DJ playing some of the best Trance/House music ive ever heard.

I head back to Pure Wood, and the girl is still at the bar, and I start chatting it up with the bartenders, kinda sad that its my last night. We dont talk that much, but we have a good time, and I complain about Yuuki taking the girl from me hahah. The bartender Yuuki told me that the Tango band guy Martin came back, and he said hello. Im upset that I missed him, and also that Nao doesnt show up. These two people come in, a girl and a large japanese guy, and they fascinate me! The guy speaks in a very strange accent, using slang everywhere, and throwing english in. The girl and him are very sophisticated, and order some intense food and special drinks, eating and drinking slowly and talking about it. The girl lights his cig, and they talk occassionally, commenting on the girl and stuff. He is so pimp and she treats him like gold, it was a relationship I have only seen in the movies, but the girl seemed to love it and the guy was content. It was one of the happiest couples I have ever seen. He told me my Japanese was great, and the girl was shocked to hear I was from Kanazawa, because she grew up in a town nearby, that I passed on the train at Kagaonsen. Wtf, there's that small world again.

They eventually leave, he tells me that my Japanese is great and that I should keep working hard, and she comments that its light outside, cuz its like 4-5am, and then the door opens and I hear Tetsu and Yuuki. I told them I had a good time and all that, and Yuuki said in english, ' IM INNOCENT!' when Waka told him about the girl that he stole. Yuuki then said that the girl was taken away from HIM from some really rich guy. You cant win always. hahahah

So they headed out and I said goodbye for real. Eventually, everyone starts to leave and the bar is about to close, and the bartenders and I start saying our final remarks. Waka says he will work here forever for he is already married (he showed me his kid) through a Shotgun Wedding (same word in Japanese lol), and to come back once I live in Japan. They told me to come back asap, and to definitely live in Japan. So I shook hands, and with a very sad goodbye and a couple jokes, I left my Japanese friends and my little niche that I created in Osaka.

Outside the streets were still crowded with guys who were drinking, and there are some B-Boys dancing in front of a window.

As I got to my hotel and I gave a final glance out my window, I realized with a strange happiness that I was so fortunate to find a location that I could call Home.

Osaka. Nao, Yuuki x2, Waka, Tetsu, Lizu. Memories that last a lifetime. I only hope that sometime, somewhere, in this super small world that our paths should cross again.
