Story.
Kia looked at her picture when she woke up Sunday morning. It was more special today than it was yesterday. She stood up from her desk chair and went downstairs. Kia hadn't eaten at all yesterday and she was starving. She settled on a sandwhich and a pop then headed back up to her room. She ate then got dressed. Kia was eager to get to the park today. Derek said he would meet her at the giant oak tree then they could make their travel to the Secret Hill. She set out down her street and after a small distance travel made it to the giant oak tree. Sure enough Derek was waiting there leaning against the tree speckles of sun shining through the leaves down on his face. Derek looked over and smiled his enchanting crooked smile and waved. She sure is beautiful and graceful. He thought to himself and stared slightly. "How have you been?" he asked her when she made it over next to him. "I've been okay." replied Kia smiling brightly. "You have a beautiful smile." complimented Derek. Kia blushed deeply, "T-thank You." she said a little flustered. "No problem," replied Derek smiling, "Beautiful people need a compliments." Kia's cheeks burned red. "Uh . . ." she tried to say something, but was speechless. I've never felt this way, not even with Seth. Thought Kia feeling good as if something was blooming inside her. Kia and Derek made their way to the hill and sat down next to one another. The two watched the children play and laughed at how sweet and innocent they were. Then they both decided to break the silence, "I really want children one day." They both looked at eachother and laughed. "I love children they're so cute and free. I mean they're so fun to be around. Kids make you feel alive." stated Kia. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Kids are awsome." replied Derek looking over at Kia. Her eyes were lively and her smile warm he could sit next to her all day and never get over her beauty. Kia fely his eyes on her and trned her head and met his eyes. The second their eyes met they were locked. The two gazed into eachother's eyes as the sun started to set. Kia inched closer as Derek turned all the way in her direction. Before they knew it their lips met in the perfect kiss, and at that moment they new that whatever happened neither of them would forget this magical kiss.
