• The Beast Within

    INTRO

Within a year, the world was attacked by the race of vampires. Human beings suffered the impact so much that their population has lowered by many percentages. Men, women, and children suffered from these blood hungry beings, and slowly the human race began to die out. The vampire race began to be more dominant. Until a large meteorite had hit the lands of green and blue. Covering the earth with forests, jungles, and hard survival.
The meteorite impact had changed the earth for good. Not only had the cities, towns, and villages, became into the environment of strangeness. Human beings, the ones whom still survived from the vampire attacks, gained strange powers or abilities. Few humans grew with so much power that darkness over flowed them.
With the human beings now changed, they now had a chance to defend themselves from the vampire race. To take back the earth and put it back into human hands. The only problem is, the human race really is not so humanly anymore……

A dim room of darkness and a single light, stood within the lands of complete unknown. In the middle of the space, held a round wooden table with a candle in the middle. Faces of pure mystery sat about the table, each wearing a mask of white porcelain. Small silver twirls design the white mask. The strangers where covered in a blue velvet robe which looked heavy to the eye. Gold and silver tassels draped about the wardrobe, giving the royal appearance to each mysterious beings.
One masked figure rose a hand in the air with laughter upon his hidden flesh lips. Many others followed this motion, candles which began to light, showed a brilliant blue flame.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has finally come! The meteorite has taken full affect upon earth. Now it is time for the world to know about our kind. To fear no more about vampires. Instead to fear our plans for the earths destruction. For it is the key to unleash the deadly spirits within.” a voice of pure silk rumbled out into the silent blue.
The candles began to swarm in a dancing motion, then flickered out to have pure darkness. Rumbled laughter darted forward, then settled down to welcome in the silence.

    CH. 1

BEEP, an alarm clock sounded off within a small apartment. One that rang within the one bedroom home. A hand of peach skin reached towards the flat squared alarm clock and hit it hard. The alarm clock flung to the ground, clattering upon the solid wooden surface.
Yuki Takashi, a girl of young age awoken from slumber. Eyes of pale blue seemed to go into a deep change as it focused on its surroundings. The sun light barely shone through, giving Yuki time to get better acquainted with the atmosphere. She sat up with a slight yawn, letting a vodka bottle tumble down the floor with laziness.
The apartment is not much of a warming place for each corner or space that should be free, is cluttered with liquor bottles, cigarette buds, and crumbled up newspapers. The place is no doubt a pig sty and would certainly grab the wrong attention. Yet, Yuki found it no problem to deal with for she found the clutter extremely comforting.
After a quick shower, she had walked over to the kitchen area grabbing the first liquor bottle and taking a good gulp. The flavor spiced up her tongue and she gave a smack in pleasure. The pleasure was soon cut short when the towns siren flared off. Giving off a displeasing warning that a vampire attack is going to happen any moment. Or maybe one is already starting? The people in the town seemed to be overly cautious and jump when a hair on some ones head goes missing.
Getting changed in some pants and a regular one colored shirt, she dashed out of the apartment. On her way out, grabbed a wooden bow that hung out by the front door.
The day seemed to be a bit gray as the atmosphere smelled strongly of rain. It stung her nose with no mercy. Yuki gave a slight yawn, this weather always made her head go crazy with dangerous wanting of the spicy liquid. I need to stop drinking, she would think. Yet the thought never set in.
Yuki stood within the street, she did not had to move an inch from her home to see the most unbelievable thing. A loud bang sounded off, causing the windows from her apartment building to shatter. Glass came flying down towards the road way as the flames dazzled into the space. The liquor inside the apartment only made the explosion worse. As the building because to be eaten by the dangerous flames.
“DAMN IT!” she shouted in anger, “My good bottles are in there!” Yuki began to head towards the building, having the plan to rescue the treasures, but was caught short by a slight shiny object. Yuki bent backwards to miss the on coming long sword, which came inches from her nose.
“Hello, human.” said a sly voice. One that is coated in a velvet texture and smooth. Yuki turned to face a vampire, one that had white skin and red eyes. Those eyes gave its truth of how hungry this vampire was. Yuki slowly reached for the bow and arrows, yet is interrupted by the long sword within the vampires hands. The blade took a good blow at her arm, giving the peach colored skin a nice red tint.
The vampire gave a smirk, one that disgusted Yuki to her grave. She stepped a few inches back with the bow tightly in her hands. Then pointed the first arrow towards the vampire.
“That will not be wise young girl. Bows, guns, swords, and any of your pathetic weapons, will not kill me!” the vampire hissed with amusement.
“Then you are an idiot to let this weapon full you.” Yuki replied simply, letting the first arrow go with such force. The wooden arrow made sound with the impact of the vampires head. Causing such a force that the wind picked up and the pale head to come flying off the vampires shoulders.
“That was too easy.” she laughed, turning her back towards the useless vampire, “Now for a lovely drink.” she thought, then remembering her apartment being totally destroyed. What in heavens could have made such a thing happen.
Yuki gazed up at the flaming window, the fire had spread quite a bit. The heat rose without care, covering Yuki within its warmth. The gray clouds sucked in the oxygen like a vacuum.
Spotting a hooded figure within the flames, Yuki rushed forward, being caught off guard by the vampire, whom is pulling himself together. His hands pointed towards her as a fast spurt of lightning erupted from his finger tips. The electricity came into impact with Yuki’s whole body. Each limb feeling numb as can be Yuki fell forward with a yelp of pain. Her heart began to beat in full throttle, causing a heart attack. From all the liquor, cigarettes and more, all this did not help her body become immune to the effects. Yuki grabbed her chest with strength, the heart not giving up its pace.
Giving out a gasps and groans, her body began to force itself deeper into gravity, only having a few jolts upward. Her eyes were wide as the pupil went small. Yuki turned panic pale and began to grow still. Yet her last sight was of the same hooded figure from the burning window.
The mysterious person had easily took his gloved hands and placed it upon the vampires forming body. Instantly catching the pale flesh on fire, the vampire screamed in agony until his mouth is covered in flaming heat. The figure in the mask and hood had turned towards Yuki, walking over to her lying body and the world went dark…..
