My Valentine (part 10) by R&Z
(do to popular demand we are going to extend the series...*what popular demand >< wink
Valentine looked away blushing a deep red. His whole body began to burn as he sat there in bed. The kiss made him lose his train of thought as usual but he had questions to ask...and answers to be heard. His hands shook lightly like a frightened kitten. He began to pant quietly then calmed himself before Hero noticed.
"I'll leave...maybe tell the school you wont be in today..." Hero offered as he stood up by Valentine's bed side. Just as he was about to take a step away from the bed, Valentine reached up for Hero's hand and held it tight in his own.
Hero turned around and looked at Valentine's hand in his. He tangled their fingers together and sat back down on the bed, wondering what Val needed, or wanted.
"Tell me...Tell me who she was..." Val asked not being able to look at Hero anymore. His voice was a bit shaky but it didn't matter to him at this point. He wanted his answers.
Hero looked at Val and lowered his head. A sigh was released and he answered the question without hesitation. "She was my cousin Val. I use to live with her when we were little here. Once my dad found his job, we left my aunts home and moved into our own. I love my cousin Val, but not in the way you might think." He lifted his head and looked at him, tilting his face over to meet his eyes with his own. "I love you Valentine, and no one can change that...not anyone not anything. Do you understand?" He said hoping to win Val over.
They both sat there. Val trying to think and Hero patiently waiting for a reply in any sort. Finally Val spoke up and never once looked away from hero. "Well that was a strange way of being friendly to you're cousin. Really, if you're lying just stop..." He said firmly.
Hero sighed a bit disappointed at the reply Val had given him however he understood completely. Hero leaned in and kissed Val again, continuing to hold his hand. As he parted his lips with Val's he whispered over his mouth. "What can I do to change you're mind?" He asked. Hero had always felt he needed to prove something around Val, with others, they believed him instantly, thanks to his charming personality and his ever so lovely looks.
Val swallowed and looked down at his lap, not really knowing what to do in this situation. Dawn was to come soon, he had wished it was now then later. Just as he was about to say something he felt a hand slide up under his shirt. His eyes widened instantly out of reflex and his gaze fell on the bed sheet. Hero pulled closer and whispered once more to Val. "I'll prove it to you..."
