I couldn't believe that Aqua found the gem that fit into my necklace. It was odd. I mean, what are the chances that Aqua would find this gem of all gems in the world? So, I slipped the four point star crystal into the the empty spot on my necklass, but when I touched the gem to the silver, I could have sworn that the crystal was still in my hand. The next second, it was in the necklass and wouldn't so much as budge from it's new home around my neck.
"What the heck," I whispered, still shocked from what happened.
"Hey," said Eric, "how'd you do that? It was a pretty good trick!"
"I-I don't know," I answered dumbfounded. "Anyway, Aqua, thanks for the gift. I was driven a little crazy by this silver necklass because of the missing gem. So, really, thank you so much."
"Hey, it's a mark of our friendship," she replied in a gentle tone. "Okay people! I think I called you over for a party, so let's get started!"
"Yeah," we all shouted in unison.
That party went on for hours, and it turns out that Aqua did plan everything ahead for this. She even talked all of our parents into it, and her's were out of town. It was so much fun. Chris was his usual self, acting cool and annoyed. His big mistake was when he kept bugging Terrra to go one-on-one with him. I know Chris loves his Kenpo, but he was way over his head in doing that. Terra just sipped her tea, got up and Chris was thrown upside down into the nearest couch with a bruise on his upper arm. Then she sat back down and had some more tea. I honestly don't know why Chris even bothers. Later on, we all tried the karioke machine Aqua set up. Terra politely declined, but Eric just had to be first. Trust me, it's really hard to stop him. He sang really really bad! None of us could take it! It took us ten minutes to pry him away from the microphone. He couldn't sing to save his life, so he just sat there sulking for a little bit. Then Aqua, somehow, managed to get me up there for a duet. It was bad, nails on a chalk board bad, and we were heckled off stage with our heads down. Ruby and, surprisingly, Chris tried a duet, and they sounded good. So good, all of us were green with envy. It went on like this for a while, until we fell asleep all over the room. But, just when I thought I could sleep peacefully, there was a large explosion in the park outside the house that tore it asunder.
