New entry. I wont be posting tomorrow but to whatever loyal fan I have I will be posting two on Wednesday. Here it is another dream/nightmare.
I woke up in a hole. But I was covered in ash, I was infact in a hole filled with ash. I rose and let the ashes fall off but I still had the remanents upon me. I looked around and saw burnt trees all over the place. The sky, once again, was on fire. The clouds black, the rain black as well, and the sky was red from the eclipse that stuck out in the air like a black man in a K.K.K. reunion. ( I'm a black guy too, so dont get offened.) I continued to look around, it appeared that we were on the side of the mountain with all the burnt trees. The animal were half burnt and half eaten, they kept walking, as if they were really alive but we all know the truth. But I was brought back to immediate attention as something grabbed my foot. I sharply looked down to find a burnt skeleton clutching tightly to my boot.
Skeleton: Heeelllllpppp, meeeee.... *cough, cough*
I crouched down to his level. But I was a bit skeptical talking to a dead guy.
Me: But... What can I do? And how can you cough?
Skeleton: Jussstt giiiive mee sssssommme waaataa.
Me:Waaataa?... Water?
The skeleton shook his head in agreement. I was about to tell him that I didn't have any water but then I felt something heavy on the side of my belt. Alas, long and behold a cantine of water. I took the top off out of fear that the skeleton's bones shall brake at the attempt of opening. The skeleton took the cantine from my hands a drank, the water hit the ground instead of going into his ethereal stomach.
Skeleton: Ahhh, that is much better.
Me: Ok, now who the hell are you?
Skeleton: Oh. Why of course my good boy. *ahem* I am lord Baron Ashfoot the II heir to the Ashfield farmlands.
Me: Sounds like a fancy title. Why haven't I heard of you?
Baron: Well due to my untimely demise, and no heir to inherit my land, it has been divided up by other buisness owners for them to do what they wish. Please do not ask any question of whom may have bought my land for I've been dead before I could register that I was even dead or conscious of being able to be apart of the living dead.
Me: Ok....
I get up to leave but then it seemed that Baron had one more request.
Baron: By the way my good chap, I am in need of your services once more.
Me: Oh?
Baron: Well as you can see I am lacking a few appendages.
He points to his legs... Or what once had been his legs, where his pelvis downward that should have been there was missing.
Me: So I see. So?
Baron: Kind of need to get down to that town, just right over there *he point down the hill, it wasn't to far away*. So I can get a drink, just to freshen up a little, that is all. Do you think you an give a old pile of bones a hand?
I simply sighed. What else is there to say? I picked him up and pushed him over my shoulder. He latched on around my neck as if I was giving him a piggy back ride, jus without legs. I hiked down, Baron decided to fill my head with interesting little tid bits about his life. His wife, his aspiration as a child, his dog, etc. But I didn't listen, I was too busy of thinking about my own problems and how I was going to eradicate them. It felt like minutes before I got down to the bedraggled little town but Baron assured me it was hours and he directed me to the saloon (as he called it) within this town. Skeletal horses were tied right outside of the taverns doors, the water they were meant to drink were brown and green, with small dead creatures in it. I open the doors and was the biggest spectical within there. There were dead people, some were skeletons, others were rotting corpses. A barmaid had a peice of her cheek hanging by a peice of flesh, her right boob appeared to be torn off, she simply looked at me with her one good eye.
Me: Oh shi---
Baron: Hey every one!
The undead costumers: BARON!!!
Me: huh?
The dead rushed towards Baron with many of 'Welcome back', 'We missed you', 'Hows it been?'.
Baron: Thank you, boy. I owe you much thanks!
Me: Don't mention it. I have to go. L8ter.
Baron: Good bye my good friend! As I left the bar I was blinded by a bright light, with its origins unknown. It soon faded to a gray. I felt like I was floating. I didn't know which way was up or which way was down, left nor right. I felt soo alone. Even in between the light and dark I felt soo very alone.
Unknown female voice: ______.
Me: huh?
U.F.V.: _____.
I couldn't recognize it. Although in some ways it was soothing, I was still a little wary of listening to it. Who was it? Did I even know the voice. It gave me no hint. But it asked one simple question.
U.F.V.: What is the word of hope for you?
Me:..... I don't know.... I really don't know....
And I truly didn't. Each time I let myself think I found hope, hope of a good life, hope of happiness, I find myself being smashed to the ground. With no hope came no joy, I found only oblivion..... It then got dark and nothing was visble. I was left in the dark. I guess I just have to find the light.
The End.
