Shreeder's Lifestyle Here and Afar
This journal is my life, which is very crazy, and currently in Japan!
That was ridiculous. Day 1) Going to Osaka
Well, this is going to be an insanely long journal entry, but I NEED to write it asap so I dont forget much. I had so much fun in Osaka, it should have been a crime. I never wanted to leave! My break from work was so incredibly ridiculous that I am upset that I am going to start forgetting things.

So, here we go.
Day1) Going to Osaka.

It was my last day in the Radio department at work today, and I got to see the Tanabata Matsuri Mizuhiki Kazari. It was amazing! The amount of work put into the wire/paper sculptures is really awe inspiring. Also, on the second floor of this shop, there was a history section, which showed the 100+ year history of that shop, including the sketches from the original owner, sketches with very intricate directions on Mizuhiki as well as sketches of Kanazawa before there were city-like buildings, and they were very good!
So we interviewed her on the radio, but I didn't get to say that much because of time restraints.
The next stop was a Natural medicine pharmacy which, at the time, really inspired me to be healthier through more natural means... of course, that chain of thought died pretty quickly, but it was there! It was a beautiful place behind the M'za shopping building, and we did a commercial for it.

So after that, it was time to head to Osaka! I got to the train station and there were huge delays on all the Thunderbird Express trains headed to Osaka, and I knew my friends Penny and Jon were waiting for me in the big O, so I felt bad already. 3 hours later and I finally got into the trainstation and realized I didnt know the name of my hotel (Hotel Granvia Osaka), lol, so I called my dad, worked it out, went to the hotel and there Penny and Jon were. They wanted to eat and party asap, so away we went! By the way, Osaka is HUGE. Its like all the Boroughs of NY, except in the same style of Manhattan. Sheesh. My hotel had a sick view of it all because it was on the 26th floor.
Oh, funnily, the key for my room was like a 5inch long skeleton key, which was hilarious.
So they lived in Hotel Kinki, right in the bar district and in the heart of Psycho Osaka, which was overwhelming. Jon lied and said he had a great view, but I soon found out it was literally a concrete wall. From his hotel window you could literally touch the concrete wall 'view.' We ate some food and drank some beers, and eventually started to bar hop. We walked around and saw so many Hostess bars, and Kareoke bars with HUGE dragon robots in front of them, but, long story short, we eventually wound up at a bar called Pure Wood.

This changed everything.

I aksed the bar tender if he liked Osaka, and of course he said yes, and then the conversation started. We drank some more, and then eventually headed out. Little did I know that the best times of my life would be in that same bar.
The way back home was long and confusing, and I had to ask for directions multiple times, but, because my hotel was in the trainstation, I just had to look for a skyscraper and try to figure my way back to it.
At 10am, I planned to meet up with Penny and Jon and go sightseeing in that bustling Metropolis.
