My Valentine (part 5) by R&Z
(...must we continue to ask you to read the first part to understand this one if you haven't read the beginning?)
Hero sat down beside Valentine and looked at him with a smile. "So we meet again." Hero whispered to Valentine as he reached over to shake his hand. Valentine turned his head to the front and didn't bother to touch his hand. His cheeks flushed a deep pink as he sat there trying to piece together what was going on.
"Ok, everyone open your notebooks, we're continuing the lesson from Friday. Hero, borrow Valentine's notes for this unit, we're having a test soon." The teacher said as he picked up a piece of chalk and began to print on the board. Sounds of paper turning and the shuffling of books echoed through out the class room. Val tried his best to block it all out but it was hard to do so.
Hero felt a bit disappointed that Val wouldn't even look at him. He pulled his hand back and pulled out his black notebook, and writing down on a fresh page. However he wasn't copying down the notes the teacher was, he was writing a small personal note to Val; which read as follows:
hi, I'm Hero, please reply to this.
Hero pushed the notebook in Val's sight hoping he would read it at least, and he did. Val pulled out his black pen and wrote back on the paper, showing his fine penmanship.
Valentine...Val is my name, stop doing this, it's foolish.
Hero was excited to see he was writing but frowned at the message after reading it. A deep sigh was let out and he stared down at his books listening intently at the teacher while his partner Val scribbled down the notes on the board and what the professor was saying.
Class ended an hour later and Hero caught up to Val just before he headed any further down the hall. "Hey wait..." Hero said grabbing Val's arm. In an instant Val pulled his arm back, away from Hero's grip. "Don't touch me!" He cried out before storming down the hall to his next class. Hero watched as he vanished before him. He stood there with a blank face, his hands in his pocket, and his pack over his shoulder. Running through his mind was Val's charming kiss and hatred for him at this point in their meetings.
